Well, after me myself having had the crud for over a month now, with my dsd having strep before that, I have I hope at pray come to the end of my illness. Cepacol, prescription cough medicine and antibiotics becoming my friends, the crud has decide it has grown tired with me and has moved on over to my husband and dgs. I pray that it tires of this household very soon, and moves some where else. I'm thinking somewhere in the desert where it is nice and warm, and no one else lives there, or wait and deserted island would be better. This is nasty stuff, wait I have it, lets send it over to the Taliban and spread over there, then no one would feel like fighting. I sure don't. I don't feel like doing anything. Unless you count, blowing my nose, hacking, taking cough medicine sleeping. Great cycle. Just great. Anyway, I was saying, I am at the end of my illness, and I do not want it again. I am actually ready to get up and clean house, wow. Shhhhh, don't tell anyone I said that. LOL. For any out there who gets that sore throat go to the drugstore and get the cepacol that is really good stuff and helps the throat a lot.

Wow, didn't think I could feel lost so fast, as I do when I don't get to keep my grandbaby.  I have gotten to see her twice this week, and have enjoyed each moment of it.  It is hard to get up during the night, and find yourself tip-toeing past the baby bed, only to remember that she isn't in it.  I am hoping and praying that after this next week, I might have a chance of getting her again.  I don't feel as though I am doing my job when I am not keeping her.  She was really happy to see us this week.  We went to the park this afternoon and she got to slide, and play on the horses.  We wanted her to swing but the baby swing was broke, and she wasn't thrilled about swinging in someone else's lap although she did for a minute.  I look forward to more and more days of this.  My Mom and Dad have their house for sale, and have a good prospect on buying it, we are hoping soon to be able to move them here closer to us.  I love having my family around me.  My grand sons are growing up faster than I can tell you.  The oldest one is at boy scout camp this week, he will be home tomorrow.  He called his mom this week and said "I'm a celebrity.....get me out of here."  He is so funny, and also so homesick.  We will be glad to have him home also.  His younger brother, has admitted several times this week, how much he misses his brother, for he doesn't have anything to play with, (of fight with). LOL.  Well has the storm rolls in for the evening, we are preparing to go out for our anniversary supper.  I husband made it home from Boy Scout Camp in time.  He was tied up with Boys Scout training camp on my birthday, I probably wouldn't be so happy to have him have missed the anniversary also.  23 years and counted, And let me tell you if I had know before I married him what my life would have been like......I would have married him anyway.  Love him very much.

Montgomery gets tough on people parking in front yards with $50 fines

Posted by Associated Press June 02, 2009 4:30 PM

MONTGOMERY -- City residents who park a vehicle in a front yard will have to pay a $50 fine for each violation starting this week.

The Montgomery City Council approved a revised residential parking ordinance earlier this year that includes the fine. Vehicle owners were given a monthlong warning period in May. That has now ended.

The new ordinance allows the city's housing code inspectors to issue a citation on the spot for any vehicle found parked in a front yard.

Council members said the old ordinance was virtually unenforceable because a citation could be issued but not enforced for 10 days, allowing the owner to move the vehicle numerous times. The new law allows vehicles to be parked on the side of a home, as long as the home is not on a corner lot.

Okay I must be different than most people.  I fully believe if you own the house, and you own the land the house is sitting on, shouldn't be able to park you car on it anywhere you want.  Same goes for these communities that pass the rules about what kind of fence you put up, or what kind of tree you plant in your front yard.  My House, My land, My rules.  I don't tell you what you can do on your land, you don't tell me what to do on mine.  Sorry again I rant on.....I just have a big problem with this.   It was my hard made money that bought this house and front yard, why do you think you can tell me where to park my car.  GRRRR!!!!!
